Youth Consult was founded by a team of young people with different backgrounds in business, leadership, education, and the arts. The desire of this team was to create a platform where youth can sharpen their skills, access guidance and support in the crafting and designing of solutions to their specific needs , to make decisions and drive change in their own lives and communities where they live.
At the same time, we noticed that young people in underserved communities faced more injustice than any other people. They’re the most ill-equipped and not skilled to turn their passion into meaningful actions. Our desire to see this change motivated us to form a youth desk where these special people become civically empowered, engaged, educated, skilled, and economically boosted to achieve their goals. We have successfully done this job by providing mentorship, volunteer opportunities, leadership, and entrepreneurial training, and new pathways to present and future opportunities.
